It’s the common response to questions without a known answer, and these days, employees and employers alike are pondering an increasing amount of head-scratchers when it comes to their evolving relationship.
In order to better understand how employers and employees are interacting with each other and identify pain points within that relationship, tech firm Elements Global Services analyzed Google search trends to find out what questions are eating away at workers; the study found that the majority of searches are related to privacy, surveillance and compensation.
“The level of trust between employers and employees is being impacted by the new working landscape,” says Rick Hammell, CEO and founder of Elements Global Services. “Understanding employees’ concerns offers business leaders a more in-depth look into where the issues are and the opportunity to make an investment to improve internal operations.”
