FAQs on Atlas HXM Pricing

How does Atlas HXM pricing work?

With Atlas HXM, you pay the following costs per employee:

  • Monthly Platform Fee: This is a monthly administrative fee per employee hired through our Employer of Record services.

  • Local Employer Services (LES) Rate: This blended rate covers the mandatory costs and contributions of complying with employment laws, taxes, and regulations, and the overall costs of doing business in a chosen country.

  • Foreign Exchange (F/X): A rate applicable for the service of converting invoice currency into the local currency if different.

  • Benefits Administration: Premiums for additional benefits coverage for employees.

How does pricing for Visa and Global Mobility services work?

Every country has unique immigration laws and requirements, which can make it a long and difficult process when you need talent outside their country of citizenship or permanent residency. In such instances, Atlas HXM ensures that your employees have the appropriate work authorization, visas, and other documentation to start working wherever you choose.

Where required, visa sponsorship is an extra charge on top of the Employer of Record service fee. This is charged on a per-visa basis. The Atlas HXM team will work with you to determine the appropriate work permit category for your employees and provide end-to-end support in the visa application process.

How does the cost of working with Atlas HXM compare to setting up company-owned entities?

Working with an EOR service provider like Atlas HXM allows you to circumvent a lot of the costs associated with setting up your own entities, including entity incorporation fees, legal fees, and local accounting costs. As such, working with Atlas HXM means that you could save as much as 83%* on the costs of hiring abroad compared to doing it yourself.

* Average calculations at the time of publication based on an organization in the United States employing one employee in the United Kingdom at a gross annual salary equivalent to USD $50,000.

Does Atlas HXM provide volume discounts for larger teams?

Our pricing structure is there to support your growth, so as your business expands, you can benefit from economies of scale and drive down the total cost of doing business with us.

Some of the aspects that drive overall pricing are:

  • The number of employees.

  • The employees’ gross salary

  • The Local Employer Services (LES) Rate, based on the specific country/countries of employment

  • Plus, any other non-discretionary additional requirements that you may need.

What happens if I need to terminate an employee or if an employee resigns?

With an international workforce, it is important to consider local employment law and regulations concerning notice periods and severance payment when terminating an employee. Partnering with an EOR means that all employee terminations are conducted in full adherence with local laws, keeping you informed throughout the process, and mitigating any risk of or challenge to a decision to terminate. Atlas HXM follows best practices in offboarding employees, including the signing of a mutual termination agreement, ensuring that the employment ends cleanly and compliantly.

Similarly, if an employee resigns, they will follow all local statutory requirements and the specific terms and conditions laid out in their employment agreement.
